Back in 1991, Mike Molinaro and two of his good friends kicked off their first sharpening venture, MRM Sharpening. It was built on skill, hustle, and a shared passion for bringing tools back to life. But as life often does, things changed, careers grew, families came first, and MRM quietly stepped into the background.
Fast forward to 2024, after retiring as a Project Manager from Lockheed Martin in 2021, Mike felt the itch to bring that spark back. The timing was right, the passion was still there, and the tools were calling. That’s when Molinaro Sharpening was born with a fresh start and decades of experience behind it.

Typically, our turnaround time for shears and knives is 20 minutes or less each depending on the severity of the blades. We always communicate expected completion times clearly.
